FIRST VET EXAM...WITH HIS NEW FAMILY
AFTER you have purchased your puppy, please make a Vet appointment.
In he Best interest of your new family member we require that the puppy be examined within 48 hours after leaving us.
While the new puppy will have a total vet exam prior to leaving my home along with an official Vet health certificate, moving to a new home is very stressful on a puppy.
At this exam, the vet will become famaliar with your new family member.
At this exam take along the Medical Record, Health Certificate and Vet check sheet. Your vet will be able to incorporate these
vaccines in your puppies new vet chart, and plan his vaccines for his future.
In the event you have gotten your puppy on a Saturday, the last day for your vet exam would be Tuesday.
Sunday and Holidays are not considered to be business days. We make no excepts to this 48 hour exam.
Your puppy will be current on his vaccinations. Per the warranty No vaccines are permitted to be
given to the puppy at this first vet visit. This is important, as it wil void your warranty. As agreed in the sales contract.
Vaccine given to a puppy, who has just changed homes or who is under the stress of shipping is not recommended.
It has been proven that puppies when vaccinated under stress of changing homes or shipping are at risk of developing the symptoms of the virus that they are being vaccinated against. What this means is that by allowing the puppy to be vaccinated on this day, you could end up with a puppy in who requires medical care. While there are good honest vets. There are also Vets who are only interested in their incomes.
It is our true concern and love for our puppy that makes this a part of our sales agreement.
We suggest that your puppy receive the next vaccinations
at 12 weeks (or 10 days after arrival)..5 way combo vaccine NO CORONA
at 16 weeks (or 10 days afte arrival)....5 way combo vaccine NO CORONA
Rabies No Earlier than 16 weeks.
Vaccinations given in this manner, have proven successful over the past years.
Your Vet may want to add Lepto and Bordetella vac’s to this schedule based on their recommendations for your area.
FLEA PREVENTATIVE should start on this first visit.
HEART WORM should start at the 12 week visit sand FLEA PREVENTATIVE should start on this first visit.
At this visit, your vet is to fill out the Vet Check Sheet. (0n the site)
Your Vet should fill out this form, sign it and then fax it, along with your vet bill to us.
SHOULD, YOUR Vet find the puppy unfit for purchase at this visit.
Call me from the Vet Office. I will want to speak with your veterinarian. We try to make sure that every puppy that
leaves our home has no health problems. However, should out veterinarian miss something, we are her for our puppy
and you.
We do advise you to return the puppy, with a diagnosis letter to us, for a FULL REFUND of the purchase price. Return should be made immediately if you are in our area. If you must ship the puppy back, it must be done within 48 hours of your vets findings.
